The name "Mashariki" is derived from the Swahili language and it means "East".

Going the extra mile.
We always strive to go the extra mile for the benefit of our customers. Each of our vehicles is commercially insured up to 1 million dollars per occurrence which in essence protects you as a renter incase you go over your limits on your primary auto insurance. You are therefore adequately covered incase of liabilities. (Please note that your personal auto policy is "Primary" when renting our vehicles and Mashariki insurance is "secondary")
We are glad to infom our customers that our commercial insurance covers them for any excess amounts in case you fully exhaust your policy limits in the event of a liability settlement . Remember that not all used car rental companies carry this commercial insurance which makes us stand out from the crowd.
